Soulfire by Juliette Cross6/1/2023 ![]() ![]() as they all have so a tight relationship, it would have been nice to see more of them in this book as wellall in all it was a good second book, although for me to short as I would have loved to see more of the characters and the world. ![]() more for a longer epilogue to see more of them together as well as to see more of Jessen and Lucian. Although this only showed in the second halfI really missed Lorians POV here, as it would have given me more insight on his character - and as he is a very interesting character with quite some history, it would have been well worth it.Sorcha was for me a bit difficult to like at the beginning as I got the impression she had so many different bed partners to prove to herself that she is independent.but she improved greatly as soon as she was not so consumed with proving that she did not need a man for more than sexthe last quarter was quite intense and I was gripping my seat. it is a very good idea and the plot in this one was much more action-filled than in the first one. Review 1: Windburn is the second book in this series and I have to say, I love the setting. ![]()
